Working from several modalities including person centered and  Solution-Focused approaches I help my clients find alternative ways of addressing the things they struggle with in everyday life. I enjoy working with children to help them find adaptive ways of handling the stresses and the challenges of being a young person in today’s ever-changing world. I have worked  with children who have been placed in foster care. I also work with children who are dealing with the added stresses of abuse, violence, trauma and parents dealing with substance abuse within the family. I have experience working with couples and with individuals both young and old to help each one cope with the many day to day challenges in life including relationship issue, anxiety, depression, trauma, loss of income, aging, parenting, employment, chronic illness and major life transitions.

I believe the client knows their situation best; and truly believe they are the experts in their life. I am committed to helping my clients find solutions from within. I am compassionate to everyone’s situation no matter what it may entail. I listen with my heart as well as my ears to empathize with the pain and sorrow of what they might be feeling and to develop solutions. I look forward to working together with you on your journey.
